I am the founder of North End Fitness & Training, having previously operated the gym as a franchisee of Personal Training Institute. Originally from Rockland County where I attended Ramapo High School, I then went on to graduate from the University of Michigan and earned an MBA from Columbia Business School. I now reside in White Plains with my wife and three sons.
On my 40th birthday, while still employed in financial services, I decided to finally take control of my health and joined a gym. I was fortunate that the owner took an interest in me, helped me move beyond walking on the treadmills and asked me every day what I had for breakfast. Then I was lucky to have the opportunity to work with a personal trainer for several months. When I was introduced to a gym franchise that was for sale, I immediately understood that the core concept of one-to-one fitness and nutrition was a formula for success. Most people need a lot of motivation to go exercise. I needed so much motivation I had to buy a gym!
After 6 years in this business, I still love hearing our clients tell me how they feel better, look better and can do things they never imagined they would be able to do. That they ran a mile for the first time, lost two dress sizes, or had an amazing vacation thanks to North End Fitness & Training. I also love working with the great people that help our clients achieve their success every day.
